Nancy Ahern, Esq.

Nancy’s practice is dedicated to matrimonial and family law. She is also qualified under Part 36 of the Rules of the Chief Judge to be appointed as counsel for alleged incapacitated persons, court evaluator, and guardian in Article 81 guardianship proceedings.

Before starting her solo practice, Nancy worked on sophisticated and complex matters at several matrimonial and general practice firms in Manhattan. Prior to that, she spent three formative years as an Assistant District Attorney at the Bronx D.A.’s Office prosecuting misdemeanor and felony crimes in the Domestic Violence, Grand Jury and Narcotics bureaus.

Nancy earned her undergraduate degree in English from the University of Michigan (B.A., December 2004) and her law degree from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law (J.D., June 2009).

Nancy is fluent in Spanish and lives in Brooklyn with her husband and two children .
